MALACANANG has declared October 31, 2025 (Friday) as an additional special non-working day nationwide under Proclamation No. 727, giving Filipinos more time to prepare for and observe All Saintsโ Day and All Soulsโ Day.
Signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the proclamation aims to allow families to spend quality time together while paying tribute to their departed loved ones.
The move also creates a long weekend from October 31 to November 2, allowing travelers to visit provinces and cemeteries earlier than usual.
The Palace said the decision is intended to ease congestion in cemeteries, terminals, and major roads during the peak of Undas observance.
