This strand is for students who are curious about people, culture, society, and current issues. If you love reading, writing, debating, or exploring how the world and people work, HUMSS is the right choice for you.

If you take this strand, you could be looking forward to becoming a teacher, a psychologist, a lawyer, a writer, a social worker, or a reporter someday. This strand focuses on improving your communication skills. Oh! And priesthood is a choice in here too!

Program Educational Objectives

The HUMSS strand provides a comprehensive curriculum that aims is to help you understand people and society better while sharpening your communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. It aims to prepare you for college and future careers where understanding human behavior and social issues is important.

At the end of the program, graduates of the HUMSS strand are expected to:
