The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) strand at Davao Vision Colleges, Inc. teaches students the basics of computers, the internet, and digital tools. It helps them understand how technology is used for communication, work, and daily life. This strand prepares students for future studies or jobs in technology-related fields.

Program Educational Objectives

The ICT strand provides a comprehensive curriculum that aims is to help students gain the knowledge, hands-on skills, and right values needed to install, set up, maintain, and fix computers and networks following industry standards. It also aims to prepare learners to become skilled, responsible, and competitive individuals who are ready for college, future jobs, or careers in the field of ICT both here and abroad.

Student Outcomes

At the end of the course, students are expected to:

  1. Demonstrate skills in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks in line with industry standards.
  2. Apply proper troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair hardware and software problems.
  3. Prepare for National Certification (NC II) and other ICT-related career opportunities.
